During the off season many players may take some time to relax. This is fine but it is easy to get out of shape. Players may let themselves go and indulge a little too much during this time. There are some tips on how to coach your players to stay fit during breaks and during the offseason.

Think About Playing

Instead of having the athletes think about working out and training they should be focused on how they can improve their own goal. There may be a certain skills that they need to work on and the coach should let them know this. Each athlete should work on improving this own game. Get a Little Rest

The coach should encourage the players to do some simple exercises the first week after the season ends. This will give the body some time to recover and heal from the physical demands of playing sports.
