I’m passionate about collaborating with others to enable them to express themselves fully in their work and their lives.  I specialize in working with career changers, entrepreneurs and authors to mid-wife their dreams into reality with my magic formula of Dream, Courage Action!  My forthcoming book Scrappy Startups features ordinary women who turned their unique ideas into profitable business.
 
I am a Renaissance soul with many lives inside of this one.  In the mid-70s my husband and I taught in Europe for the University of Maryland.  After nearly five years overseas, I returned to the United States for a tough time reentry, both personally and professionally.  
 
It was then I visited my first career mentor, Dr. Hilda Lee Dail and experienced her process of creativity and career.  That provided me with an exceptional way of discovering my uniqueness, which translated into a new career.
 
From then on, I have turned my passions into a satisfying, profitable career in helping others find their unique callings. I've written books, been a radio host and had many other adventures along the way, still married to the same guy.  We have a grown son and a poodle named Grace, appropriate to my spiritual nature.
 
As an outplacement pioneer in the early 80s, author of Fired for Success: How to Turn Losing Your Job into the Opportunity of a Lifetime in the early 90s (Warner Books), and coaching certifications at the turn of the century, I bring a solid background in career change to my coaching.  I have more than 25 years of consulting, coaching and training under my belt, reaching 100’s upon 100’s of career changers.
 
Clients find me collaborative, warm, and positive.  My strengths are in connections, out-of-the-box ideas, resourcefulness and future thinking.  My approach is unique for each client, yet my program consists of identifying clear direction, evoking courage and developing strategies for action.  
 
I have worked effectively with people at all organizational levels.  Motivated by the belief that everyone deserves to be fully self-expressed, I am dedicated to that reality for my clients.  While right livelihood is serious business, I also believe a fun, light touch increases ultimate success.
