Mark Susnow, JD, is a Life and Executive Coach, who has a unique background. A former trial attorney for 30 years and musician, he integrates what it takes to be successful in the world with the inner wisdom unfolded to him through years of yoga and meditation.
Throughout his life, Mark has always made a practice of taking a leap of faith whenever he heard the call for something more. His life has been an unfolding journey of discovery. Against the advice of many, upon graduating from law school, he opened his own law practice in San Francisco and represented the poor and oppressed. Before he knew it, the cases he was involved in had national significance.
Within a few years, Mark and his wife Annie and family began living on the island of Kauai, three months of the year. Mark figured out how to not only maintain the balance in his life, but to thrive in his practice. Now that the seed was planted, he wondered for the first time what he would do if he didn¹t
practice law.
Because the year 2000 had always been significant in his thinking, he made a
promise to himself that 1999 would be his last year of practicing law. He
followed his gut and his heart and took that leap of faith and made the
decision to become a life coach. Since then his life has been a continual journey of discovery.
Whether coaching one-on-one, speaking to groups, or leading a retreat, he
shares his message that regardless of our life’s circumstances, we can
always find more joy and meaning in our life. He is a sought after speaker and
coauthor along with other experts Zig Ziglar and Brian Tracy in the book 101
Great Ways to Improve your Life. He publishes the inspirational ezine,
Letters on Life. Mark’s new book, Dancing on the River…Finding Joy and
Meaning in the Midst of Change will be released in the fall of 2009.
