Suppose you are in your later years of your life. You are taking a stroll in the park, sitting on a bench or having a cup of tea in your home. You are reflecting back on your fabulous life. Perhaps you are thinking of time in decades such as your teen years, or your 20's or 50's. Some things seem more apparent than others. You notice what you went through. How you spent your time. What experiences were colourful. What experiences you would have did a little differently if you could have. You can see what experiences made you laugh, and which one made you cry. Everything seems to appear before you.

Please think about it for a second..... or maybe two............

Maybe you would have wanted to include a really authentic fabulous experience that was solely yours into your life. An experience with no limits nor boundaries..... Something that wasn't logical, but from your heart! 

Today, I was thinking about my decision if I wanted to stay in Hamilton Island and work at the yacht club for a year. I often do this exercise when making decisions. If I were to take myself in time to the future, I am almost certain I would have thought to myself, " Elaine, why didn't you stay working in the Whitsundays for a year?" I would look back and see myself working in a beautiful part of the world, with sunshine, tropical birds, and colourful fish. I would be trying new marine activities I though I'd never try like snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving, and many more! I would be working for the first time in Australia. I would be learning so much in my career position which would be in a yacht club. I would be making more friends in the southern hemisphere! I would experience working in Australia's biggest sailing regatta!  Sounds really harsh for far, doesn't it???

If I were to look back on my life, I would have wanted to include all of these experiences! When I lived in the Canadian Rockies, I tried so many summer and winter activities in nature that I would have never done had I not moved out there. I know deep from within, if I didn't include this into my experience, I would regret it forever. 

Life is in the NOW! Take every opportunity you get to live it fabulously!
